It is no secret that in Kingdom Hearts 3, Sora and his companions will all be seeking out the Keyblade wielders as they look to prepare for the final battle with Xehanort. In total, there are 7 of them but only Square Enix knows who they are.
Even so, fans already know that Sora, Riku, Mickey, Lea and Kairi are all the fixed Keyblade wielders. This leaves two slots open and after some careful digging, we believe that it could be Ventus and Aqua.
This is evident in Kingdom Hearts 3D’s ending sequence which saw Ventus, Aqua and Kairi all wielding Keyblades. However, the latter was under the influence of Xehanort and has lost her body as a result. Thus, there is no way for Kairi to be part of the 7 Keyblade wielders.
Not that things have explained itself, all 7 Keyblade wielders will be rallied together in Kingdom Hearts 3 to end Xehanort’s saga. All that is left is for Square Enix to confirm our findings.
