If you’re on GTA 5 and you’re after the best weapons, the fastest cars and the flashest properties, then you’ll need to have enough cash. There are loads of ways to get money, but some are more obscure than others.
When Rockstar brought out the 1.04 patch, it delivered a few glitches and also reduced the amount of money that missions paid.
As an apology, the company gave players $500,000 of GTA money, which was handy.
You do jobs in GTA 5 to boost your stats and ranking, as well as your bank balance, and the more missions you do, the more rewards you get.
You’ll find jobs all over the map, and you check them in with the in-game phone. You can also send out invitations for people to help you with missions – if you divide up the elements of a story between chums you can complete it faster, which opens up yet more jobs.
At Level 15 you unlock the survival matches, which are a good way to earn money. It takes around 10 minutes to reach Level 10, where you bag $20,000 in cash. The survival missions are from one to four players, and having a team makes life easier. You can re-do the missions as ofte as you fancy, and you might find the plane boneyard handy, as it has a rooftop which gives you a good vantage point.
You can steal as many cars as you can handle, but remember that you can only sell one motor every 48 hours. The police are also on the look-out for stolen vehicles, so be careful. An SUV will get you a good price, and Lampadeti Felons sell for around $9,000. Just make sure that the cars don’t have tracking devices, as Los Santos Custom Mod shops won’t touch them if they do.
The high end cars are all over at Richman.
You can get the full pricelist of cars by text from Simeon. Once you’ve got one, take it to the shop to be resprayed, then drive it to the docks for your money.
