Square Enix has already made it clear that Kingdom Hearts 3 will feature high-end graphics due to it being built on the newly developed game engine, Unreal 4. This is great news for the fans and it should solve the dull animation crisis back in the previous Kingdom Hearts title.
The Unreal 4 game engine is simply powerful and will add in facial expressions and reactions to make Kingdom Hearts 3 more realistic than before. Now, fans can catch a glimpse on the crispier character rendering in the upcoming title in the leak image here.
Of course, it is a big mistake to expect Kingdom Hearts 3 to appear life-like as the game is also hosting cartoon characters from Disney. In other words, nobody wants to see Mickey Mouse looking like a real furry rat. That will definitely be creepy.
The important bit here is that Unreal 4 will aid in offering smoother animations and crispier textures than before. The characters in the game, on the other hand, are going to be keeping its classic look but this will surely be enhanced with better lightings.
