Tetsuya Nomura has been telling us why Square Enix decided to go with unrealistic graphics for the upcoming Xbox One and PS4 game Kingdom Hearts 3.
Apparently, the company held quite a few talks about lifelike artwork, but ultimately opted for the brush-stroke Disney look.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is the first of the series to be developed for the new consoles, Nomura is the director working on the project, which is being handled by the Osaka branch of Square Enix.
Pre-orders for the game are being taken by Amazon despite the fact that we don’t know of a release date as yet for Kingdom Hearts 3.
Amazon is already taking pre-orders, even though there’s no firm release date for the game!
