Is the 2016 Honda Civic a vehicle that you would consider getting? Honda are going back to the real world and hoping to win back some of their customers with a new line-up. Have they been able to do this with their new Civic though?
The 2016 Honda Civic will be released in 2017 and will be the 10th generation. It will be up against competition such as the Volkswagen Golf and the Ford Focus. It has been over a decade since Honda have been able to achieve this. The car will have more space, have better fuel efficiency and include lots of new technology.
Production of the 2016 Honda Civic will take place in Swindon and the carmaker have invested more than £200 million into the factory towards producing the car. Judging by some of the pictures, the design of the car is stylish and more sleek and will be complete with a mean looking front end, a chubby rear end, sleek looking headlights and a coupe like roof.
We expect that the vehicle will have plenty of space in the back and that the dashboard will look cleaner and come with a big central touchscreen. It is thought that the vehicle will have a 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol engine as well as a 1.6 litre diesel version and six speed manual or CVT gearing.
The 1.8 litre engine which is currently being used is expected to be replaced with a 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine. The pricetag of the 2016 Honda Civic will be roughly £16,000.
