Apple is expected to carry out that duty and be the death of the Galaxy S5. This year, the Cupertino-based company will be unleashing the iPhone 6. This upcoming device will have a phablet twin which is heavily anticipated by the masses.
The 5.7” iPhone 6 is deemed to outdo the Galaxy S5 in every way possible. Being bigger, battery life and storage space will have plenty of room to expand its capacity. On top of that, the iPhone 6 is expected to feature an 8MP rear camera. While that may be half of the Samsung Galaxy S5 16MP shooter, word has it that the rear camera will rely on its advanced sensors to produce images that are of higher quality than the Galaxy S5.
While it all sounds great, Samsung won’t be resting in peace just yet. The Korean company will get serious with the future Galaxy S6. Next year’s generation of smartphones will be playing around the 20MP rear camera.
It is unsure if the iPhone 6 is able to keep up with all the major changes coming next year. Nevertheless, the device is expected to be the S5 killer this year.
