There has been so much buzz on the iPhone 6 lately following a leak image which reveals on how this upcoming smartphone from Apple will look like. The image shows three casings which consist of that from the iPhone 4S, 5S and 6.
The image also complimented the rumours which hint on the iPhone 6 to lose its bezels. This leak has led many fans to believe it and see it as the real thing. I hate to be the one to break your heart but the supposedly leak image is nothing more than a hoax.
For a start, previous iPhone leaks have sharp images. The image taken for this leak is out of focus and of low quality which provokes its legitimacy. Most of these leaks are taken in secret by an insider but this one appears as if it is snapped by an amateur.
Then there is the quality of the product. Apple is known to produce high quality premium smartphones. The brand strongly appeals to the elite thanks to this. As such, everything involving Apple has to be precise and of high quality. The leak contradicts to that thought. Just by looking at the “iPhone 6” casing, the home button is not centred at all. Apple takes this very seriously and this is why the leak is a hoax.
If you’re still not convinced, you can take a look at the screen size. If there is one common thing that rumours surrounding the iPhone 6 have, it is a bigger screen. While losing the bezels might make the screen bigger, it is only by a small margin.
All in all, the casing looks as if it got that black paint scratched off to reveal the transparent material. As such, it looked as if the bezels are gone for good. It might make it as a great concept but it won’t be the real thing.
