iOS 7.1 Update Confirms iPad Air 2 & iPad Mini 3 Existence

The recent release of the iOS 7.1 update certainly created a buzz among the Apple community. The update will bring the highly anticipated CarPlay function and plenty of fixes to the iPhones, iPads and iPods. However, this latest firmware is also expected to be the firmware for future Apple device.

A leak screenshot shared by 9to5Mac revealed that the iOS 7.1 update will have support for iPad 4,3 and iPad 4,6 which has yet to be released or announced from Apple itself.

Of course the iPads mentioned above are on their codenames. After much cracking, the support seems to be for the iPad Mini 3 and the iPad Air 2. This is certainly exciting knowing the devices that has only existed in rumours are actually in the making.

If you think that the iOS 7.1 update is only for existing devices from Apple, you’re wrong. The 7.1 update will also involve future Apple tablets as well.
