New rumours are claiming that Valve is too tied up with many of its tech projects that it has decided to pass Half Life 3’s development to another game developer. Well, there is no better way to describe the rumours than to call them rubbish.
This is because there is no way for Valve to simply hand over what is possibly their best gaming title ever to another developer. There is no doubt that Half Life 3 is going to create a global phenomenon when released and Valve would definitely want to be credited for it.
Besides, a third-party developer will only destroy the Half Life series, no matter how great Half Life 3 turns out to be. This is because of the feel and direction that Half Life fans are fond of with the series. Obviously, the unknown developer will want to add its ideas into the franchise that will only change the ways of Half Life.
With that being said, it seals the fact that Half Life 3 will not get produced by any other entity than Valve. The bigger question now is, when will the announcement on Half Life 3 happen?
