Internet is one of the best ways to execute a scam. Many have been the victim in the past and many more will look to fall in the near future. Scams can arrive in all shapes and sizes and normally involve the things that interest you the most. In this latest occasion, it is none-other than Half Life 3.
The highly anticipated title has kept the fans waiting for a decade now and to arrive in a scam indeed disappointing. It appears that you can donate $50 and will receive the game for free once Half Life 3 gets launched. If you want to be part of this charitable list, you better act fast.
It seems that only 2000 copies of the Half Life 3 will be given out. If you have yet to put in your donation, you can head to G2A to do so.
What seems more hilarious is its tagline. The website advertised this deal like it is some roasted duck on sale. The webmaster started off asking for everyone who is waiting for HL3. The webmaster added that every donation will reserve a copy while helping the kids at the same time.
Half Life 3 has yet to be officially announced by Valve and it don’t look to do so anytime soon. While there might be no evidence of them being scammers, if the money is going towards donations then it is a worthy enough reason to act upon.
