Even after going through a decade of wait, Valve is still pending to make an official announcement, let alone tease on the highly anticipated sequel, Half Life 3. While it might be frustrating for the Half Life fans, they believe that the issue is with Source 2.
The fans are certain that until Source 2 is completed, there can’t be Half Life 3. Unfortunately, Source 2’s development has been hitting a lot of pauses, due to Valve spending a lot of attention on publishing B-grade gaming titles for Steam.
At this rate, it will take a long while before Source 2 is ready to get launched. As such, the Half Life fans have been crying out for Valve to get Source 2’s production done and over with. There is no doubt that once Source 2 is released, the announcement on Half Life 3 will follow shortly.
