Is Half Life 3 finally in production? That is the question mark in every Half Life fans’ heads after a Tweet from the game’s Mobile Twitter account posted an image with a quote, “Weapons HUD version 0.6”.
The image depicts a screenshot of the game with a brand new HUD at all corners of the screen. At first, the fans thought it was emulated but it turned out to be otherwise.
It appears to be something similar to Black Mesa: Source where it gets rebuilt from scratch in a different engine to the original game.
While the idea for it to be Half Life 3 is too good to be true, many of the fans felt that it will be Half Life Mobile which is basically the game for your smartphone. Even the Twitter account is called Half-Life Mobile.
The rumour got stronger the moment Valve took down the uploader’s Greenlight’s page for violating copyright laws.
The excitement is certain. It might not be a Half Life 3 but it is still a Half Life game. No matter how it will turn out to be, fans can’t wait to learn more about it.
