Anyone playing Pokemon X and Y will be able to benefit from the Friend Safari game. The Friend Safari allows you to add on your friends to the Pokemon X and Y game. Here are some things that you will need to know in order to get full advantage of Friend Safari.
You have to add people onto your list on the 3DS, but bear in mind that if they don’t add you, they will not show up in the safari.
In order to unlock a 3rd Pokemon and Dream World or Hidden Abilities, when you have added each other you then have to go online and meet through Pokemon Player Search System.
You will need to go into Friend Safari and look for the icon of your friend. If you don’t see “?” then you will see a third Pokemon and their list. However your friend has to battle and win the Elite 4 first.
If you cannot see your friends that are added in your friends list in Pokemon PPS and they are called passerby or acquaintances, don’t worry, just turn off the 3DS Wireless and turn it back on again.
There is a list of Pokemon players posted online at Google Docs, complete with 3DS name, safari type and FC. You can also put your own name on the list.
