GTA 5′s multiplayer mode has seen a lot of controversies and issues since it got released months ago. The game had just gone through a rough period where hackers were taking control of GTA Online. It is over following the 1.09 patch update which eliminates these hackers from public lobbies.
These hackers now find themselves placed in a cheater’s lobby where they will be banned for a long time. However, not all cheaters are evil and most of them are kids who thought it to be fun. As a result, majority of them regret hacking the GTA Online.
There are some good news for these hackers. They can return to the public lobbies with a chance of redemption. According to Reddit, it is as simple as calling Rockstar Support and request them for that second chance. The Redditor who tried this revealed that he got released from public servers after a 7 days’ wait.
If these hackers were to rely on the timer placed on their account, it will often varies from day to day. In other words, there is no telling on how long they will be detained in the cheaters’ lobby.
Once these cheaters got their second chance, it is best to put on their best behaviour. After all, being banned isn’t such a nice experience.
