It seems that some gamers of GTA 5 Online were given a gift by way of huge amounts of cash in GTA 5 by hackers. Players got huge bounties for killing a player and this has been the talk of the forums for some time and now Rockstar have responded.
Anyone caught cheating is going to be banned and this has got some gamers who received money worried. Reports are going around that the cheater lobby in GTA 5 will hold all players who were given the large sum of cash, while Rockstar look into it.
There is no indication as to how long those found to be cheating will be put on the side line. One gamer did say that this could be up to 9 months. A gamer already in the cheat lobby has said that there is a glitch with the time and so it looks as though time is taking forever.
The move by Rockstar is a good one as cheating has to be stamped out in GTA 5 Online. But some players didn’t ask for the money and they are worried that they are going to be quarantined too. It has been said that if Rockstar had introduced the heist feature into the online version of the game then players wouldn’t have to work hard and cheat to get money.
