GTA 5 has been out for some months now and there was no doubt at all that the game would win Game of the Year. The multiplayer game arrived with some issues but gamers got past these once Rockstar launched the 1.06 patch.
There is little doubt that Rockstar have done a superb job with the GTA franchise and it will get even better when they launch DLCs for it. Rockstar has said that they plan on launching something big next and many gamers think that they could be about to launch Red Dead Redemption 2 or perhaps Bully 2. Both of these games were superb when they were launched and went on to win many awards.
Red Dead Redemption performed very well and it brought with it a great deal of fun, much more than what was anticipated. Fans never knew that so much fun could be had playing a game as a cowboy.
The future of Rockstar looks great as we now have the Xbox One and PS4 out and surely they must be looking forward to launching new games on the next gen consoles. Gamers may wish to see GTA 5 on the PS4 and Xbox One but as it looks great already on the current gen consoles, Rockstar could choose to move on to GTA 6. Of course GTA 5 on the next gen consoles would look even better.
When it comes down to it Rockstar will get a pat on the back from fans and whichever game they choose to release fans will love it.
