Months ago, Ubisoft launched Watch Dogs and the game has been closely compared to GTA 5 due to their similarities in offering an open world environment with a nice plot for a storyline. Unfortunately, there is not as much things you can do on Watch Dogs than on GTA 5.
Despite that fact, there is one thing Rockstar can learn from the former and it is with the police feature. Over at Watch Dogs, players can hide inside their vehicle by ducking to avoid getting caught by the law enforcers. Such a feature should be applied to the GTA series.
On the other hand, the law system over at GTA 5 is pretty hardcore and adding this ability might contradict to it. It simply won’t make sense if the player has been running away from the cops, only to hide in their getaway car, which the cops couldn’t identify.
Regardless, such an idea can be implemented if carefully planned by Rockstar. Perhaps, players will have to switch vehicles prior to hiding in order to escape the felony.
Since GTA 5 is currently in development for the Xbox One and PS4, we may well see it featuring on the game. Then again, the odds for Rockstar to change the mechanism of GTA 5 seem unlikely.
