When some users started reported that their Google Pixel speakers seem to be clipping at loud volumes, Google said that it was a software issue and that there will be an update for it soon but now, some people are saying that it is a hardware issue.
Some users claim that stated in a product forum that they were going to offer a refund for those that can’t wait for the software to arrive but a Google Store representative later responded saying that the issue is actually a hardware issue and that Google is not offering a refund for the issue just yet.
It seems like even Google can’t decide what the real issue is and they also can’t seem to come out with a solution for the problem. Those with the problematic unit will have no choice but to hold on tot he smartphone for a little longer while Google figures out a way to fix it.
