We haven’t heard much about a new Nexus device from Google in a while but now there is news coming out about the Google Nexus 8 again. Recently it was said that Google could be about to launch a new version of the Nexus 8 and that the company were moving away from the 7 inch slate industry as they wanted to get into the 8 inch category. Now we are hearing that the Nexus 8 may arrive with a 64 bit processor and Android 4.5.
AU.IBTimes said that Google could change their Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets in the Nexus 8. It was said that they will use the64 bit Intel processor, which is more powerful.
We have seen some excellent features on the 1st and 2nd gen versions of the Nexus 7 and both have offered great performance. However the amount of competitors on the market means that there is a lot of competition out there. There isn’t as much competition in the 8 inch market and a Nexus 8 inch tablet with the 64bit processor could give the market a new lease of life.
Details about the specs of the 8 inch tablet are limited but it is thought that the tablet could arrive with the 64 bit Intel processor along with the PowerVR G6430 GPU and Android 4.5.
