Google Nexus 6 Review: Poor Security, Uncomfortable Typing, Bad Camera

Google has already launched the Nexus 6 and we’ve been singing praises for the smartphone ever since. Today, it is going to get a little different since we are going to explore on the bad and the ugly side of the Nexus 6.

The first horrible thing about the Nexus 6 is its rear camera. It seems that every Nexus device, has failed to perform the simplest of task and that is point and shoot. For the Nexus 6, everything looked fine until we tried snapping with the LED flash on. It resulted in a sluggish focus performance and a washed out picture. As such, it is important for Nexus 6 users to never rely on the LED flash.

The other thing about the Nexus 6 is the size. Yes, it is often a more satisfying experience when you view things on a large screen. However, the Nexus 6 size can also be a pain since it prevents one-handed typing. Even when using both hands to type, the weight and dimension of the device simple doesn’t feel good on the hand.

Finally is the security. Things could have been a lot better if the Nexus 6 is more secured. Just by looking at the iPhone family, the latest iPhone 6 has Find My IPhone, thumbprint scanner and many more security features. The Nexus 6 has been severely lacking in this department, even though, users can rely on third-party apps.

All in all, the flaws in the Nexus 6 can be annoying but can be easily forgotten as the smartphone is an overall great device to own.
