Google Nexus 10 2 Dreams Replaced With A Pint-Size Punter?

A new rumour has surfaced which revealed that there won’t be a Nexus 10 2. Instead, Google will be looking to downsize their giant slate to 8.9 inch. It is expected to be called the Nexus 9. This one of a kind tablet is bound to be unveiled during this year’s Google I/O Conference happening late in June.

As for the Nexus 10 2, little is known on the fate of the device. There is still a chance for the Nexus 10 2 to be created under HTC. It will run on either the Nvidia Tegra 4 processor or the Qualcomm 800 Snapdragon. Of course, that comes with an Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera, 9500mAh battery and a 10 inch display that offers 2560×1600 resolution with 299ppi.

All in all, the fans are still keeping their hopes up for the device to be developed. Then again, we will find out for sure during Google’s event in a couple of months’ time.
