Rumours have been strongly linking both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the HTC One M9 for a release next month and when they arrive, it will commence the flagship smartphone wars of this year.
Between the two, it is expected that the S6 will come out first and will be the first major Android device to run on the latest 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of RAM to offer. Then again, the HTC One M9 too is expected to come with same processing unit.
While it may be too early to go into detail, both devices are expected to come with a big upgrade. After all, they will have to pick up their game after the Apple iPhone 6 became a global bestseller for last year.
In terms of design, the One M9 will be coming with the same design language of the HTC One M8. The changes will be with its slimmer size and also, thin bezels. The upgraded front camera will be planted at the middle of the top slab. In short, the One M9 looks glamorous and this is one of the major reasons to why consumers should wait for its release before picking up a new phone.
In terms of display, both the One M9 and the S6 are expected to feature QHD resolution so there is no need to discuss on this yet.
The biggest difference is expected to be with the cameras. Both the One M9 and the Galaxy 6 has been closely linked to be getting a 20MP rear camera but it is HTC that got more attention after it teased on a 13MP front camera.
With that being said, it makes it more important for consumers to not jump into a purchase and wait before deciding. The month of March is about 2 weeks away from now and it will be hosting the launching of both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the HTC One M9.
