Forget Call Of Duty Ghosts, ‘COD Emerge’ Details Spilled

The Destination PlayStation even was held in Arizona by Sony, behind closed doors and publishers were able to show off their line-ups to reps and buyers from retailers.

Included were some gamers that haven’t even made it to the press next and it seems that one game was the up and coming Call of Duty game from Sledgehammer, which will arrive this fall. The non-disclosure agreement is iron clad, but through Twitter a user with the name of Lokiolr talked about what he was told by his boss about the game.

“Kind of jealous, my boss and our buyer are at DPS (Destination PlayStation) this week, a retail sneak peak event.
Got the rundown from my boss on some Destination Playstation stuff. New Call Of Duty sounds awesome.
One scene he described took place on the Golden Gate bridge. He couldn’t remember the game’s subtitle but he thinks it was “Black Smith”.
Said it looks really realistic with great physics. I’m guessing the “Black Smith” title is the internal name. Like Titan was for Black Ops 2
Also it’s the next entry in the Modern Warfare series apparently. I wish I had gone, I would have retained the info better.”

He then went on to say that Rockstar did have something amazing to show off but that they had bailed out at the last minute.

For now this will have to be taken with a dose of salt as the information has come second hand, but it is very interesting. Gamers are now hoping that the next Call of Duty game will be more impressive than Call of Duty: Ghosts.
