Just when Flappy Bird is about to make a name for itself and rival the likes of Angry Birds, things have turned sour. There appears to be an exploit where players can tweak the Flappy Bird game and reward themselves with the high score.
The cheat has simply spoiled the game with every scoreboard boasting impossible numbers. 1st place has certainly lost its values.
Over at the iOS mobile devices, players need to remove the pipes to perform the cheat. More importantly, the iPhones and/or iPads need to be jailbroken for it to be done.
This is a similar case for Android users. Unlike the iOS community, Android users can simply alter the scores personally without any hassle. Of course, the Android device has to be rooted as well.
It is unsure on what will be the future for Flappy Bird. With all the cheaters exploiting the game, it won’t be long before gamers abandon Flappy Bird.
