This may sound surprising but EA is actually apologizing to its FIFA 14 players. The game developer is letting go a couple of free gold packs that are rare to come by. This is to make up for the transfer search bug that has affected the football game.
The bug is known to prevent players from getting results when they attempt to search for players in the transfer market. Worse of all, the issue has been ongoing for weeks now and the only way out of it if you have the eye for talent, like Arsene Wenger. Of course, the Arsenal manager is losing his touch as of late.
EA Sports came out to address the issue and announced that a fix will arrive before the end of next week. The game developer has identified the cause of the problem and will look forward to see it rest in peace. The patch itself is in its final stages of development.
As for the players, any Ultimate Team account created from 1 April will be entitled to a couple of untradeable Gold Rare packs for free. The giveaway will last up till 11 April. The golden packs will gift players with great footballers.
