Fallout 4: Hoaxes Aside, What We Probably Already Know

The Fallout gaming series is one of the best in the world and it truly deserves a fourth sequel added to its franchise. Despite the many hoaxes preying on the fragile Fallout community, the possibility to see Fallout 4 coming is high.

Over the years, there have been many hints on Fallout getting more sequels. In fact, Bethesda aims to achieve more than 5 Fallout titles. Back in 2004; Bethesda acquired the license to publish three additional Fallout titles believed to be Fallout 3, New Vegas and the highly anticipated Fallout 4. Pete Hines even mentioned that the game developer don’t put up this much effort for the rights to Fallout just to release a single title.

After that, there were only bits & pieces of hints appearing here and there. That was until late last year when the fan-made hoax fooled the entire community. It lasted for a while before the hoaxer cam clean and admitted his doings.

It is 2014 now and the Fallout community are worried that a Fallout 4 is never going to materialize. Those worries soon went away. The blogosphere was got really loud when casting documents got leaked by Kotaku.

The documents seemed legitimate and it reveals plenty about Fallout 4. Key information like where the game will be set got let out of the bag. Now, it is no secret that the game will take place in Boston.

It won’t make sense if Bethesda is to axe the entire Fallout project as it is their ticket to a potential record breaking sales performance. With the leak on the cast and smaller hints here and there, Fallout 4 looks to keep the fans all hyped up. As for when the game will be released, expect it to be as early as next year, 2015.
