Fans of the Fallout gaming series have been anticipating Fallout 4 for so long now. However, they have learned to stay patient the hard way.
Late last year, a website known as Survivor2299 has managed to fool the entire Fallout community. The glass got shattered the moment Bethesda’s Pete Hines came out and calls it a hoax. Even the hoaxer admitted his doing on Reddit. Ever since then, Survivor2299 has been taken down.
At least that was until today. To the fans’ horror, the hoax website is back! Fans must be traumatized by the events of the past. However, there is no reason to fear being fooled again. The website is now alive again but it has nothing to do with Fallout 4. It is merely to promote the mods for Fallout 3.
Of course, there will be paranoid fans who feels that the hoaxer is plotting another hoax in the coming future. If history looks to repeat itself, fans can just refer to Pete Hines for clarification on the matter.
