Evadr3s brought out the jailbreak for iOS 7 some time ago and then Apple launched iOS 7.1. Fans have been looking ahead to the jailbreak but it doesn’t look as though it will happen anytime soon. This is due to the fact that it is proving very difficult to crack.
The hackers pointed out that iOS 7.1 is being hard to crack and this has led to some saying that the Evad3rs will be waiting for Apple to launch iOS 8 before they have another attempt at offering a jailbreak.
The iPhone 6 could arrive later this year and with it could come iOS 8.
Winocm offered a jailbreak for older devices running iOS 7.1 and he showed the iPhone 4 on YouTube running the OS and jailbroken.
So for now Apple seems to have beaten the jailbreakers and we are going to have to wait to see what happens when iOS 8 is launched.
