Dragon Age 3: What’s Bioware Up To?

At the moment very little has been said about a release date for Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. There has been a rumour that has been going around that we could see the release in the fall, but this is not official. People who like RPGs will be happy about the game as at the moment there isn’t any RPGs on the next gen consoles. Dragon Age 3: Inquisition would also give people a chance to see what is possible with the next gen consoles.

One thing the games are known for is their all-inclusive romance. We have seen gay, bisexual and straight relationships and this time around will not be any different. It has been said though that it will not be all about carnal attraction and the game isn’t going to be cheap or tasteless.

“I think Mass Effect’s scenes were done really well and I think we will take Inquisition’s scenes in that direction,” Cinematic director Jonathon Perry told GamerZines . “You might have a nude character but they are framed in such a way that parts of them are in shadow, or having characters in various states of undress. We also want to focus not just on the sex itself, but also that this is the culmination of spending a lot of time with a character and getting to know them, and so we’re giving scenes a mature and tasteful treatment.”

According to Gamefront the dialogues in game shown in a demo recently did show off the relationships and importance of them of members of the party. So it is looking like romance in Dragon Age 3: Inquisition is going to be a huge part of the game.

“Your interactions aren’t just, ‘Hello, I’m here by my tent waiting for you,’ but instead something that feels like an outgrowth of all your adventures together and the kind of things that you’ve been doing,” he said .

So apart from the romance in Dragon Age 3: Inquisition, what can we expect from the game?

It has been said that the Qunari characters in the game can be played and they will not be lumbering fools. The characters will have dignity and we cannot wait to see what interactions they will have with other races. In an interview with Gamefront a rep for Bioware was talking about the goal of Dragon Age 3: Inquisition and he said that the idea of it was to create something that was a lot bigger than just a single character.

“Dragon Age isn’t about any specific story, it’s about the world,” Bioware said. “It’s large-scale concerns, fate of nations kind of stuff.”
“Within the Keep, you’ll be able to customize a Dragon Age historical world state to your exact specifications. How did you modify your Warden and Hawke? Who were your companions? Who did you choose to romance? Who rose to power, and who fell in defeat? What legacy did you leave? Within the Keep, you’ll be able to customize as much or as little about the world of Thedas as you wish. Then you’ll be able to import your saved world state into DAI at the start of a new game,” executive producer Mark Darrah wrote in a blog post.

It has been said that the system in the game will allow people to import saves from other games and it doesn’t matter what console the saved games came from.

Fans are expecting this to be the best game in the series as it has been developed using the Frostbite engine.
