Fans have been hoping that Chevrolet would actually start offering a new Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 to the point where they might even convince themselves that the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 prototype might actually be the ZR1.
New spy shots of what look like the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 have been making its rounds online. Although we think it could possibly just be the upgrade Z06, some fans think that it is the long-awaited ZR1.
They pointed out that the unpainted doors could mean that the vehicle will be fitted with carbon fiber doors. Other stated that the blue brake calipers pointed towards the ZR1 blue calipers although it does not make sense that Chevrolet would leave such an obvious clue out in the open for the world to see. The missing spoiler has also lead many to believe that the Chevrolet is looking to add on a new spoiler that is different from the one seen on the Z06.
