Besides showing off their new Apple iPhone 7 and the new AirPods, Apple also announced their new Apple Watch Series 2 smartwatch at the event this week. Here is what you need to know about the Apple Watch Series 2.
The Apple Watch Series 2 will be coming with GPS which means you don’t have to sync your smartwatch to your smartphone to track your location. This was one of the biggest problems their users had with the Apple Watch.
Apple also added that the new Apple Watch Series 2 will now be water-resistant so you can definitely take it for a swim now. It will also come with a faster processor which is great new but we will have to see if that affects the battery life of the watch or not.
The new Apple Watch Series 2 pre-orders will start on the 9th of September and will retail for $369. The older Apple Watch will also be upgraded on will be sold for $269.
