The Half Life community has been facing countless disappointments across a decade long wait for the much anticipated, Half Life 3. It has been so long now that the fans are running out of discussion topics.
Game developer Valve has been guilty for leaving the fans pondering on when Half Life 3 will come for a release. However, a report has gone viral revealing that Valve has actually made an announcement on Half Life 3 during CES’ press conference three days ago.
The report came with a screenshot that has led many fans into believing it (see below). As a result, the hype got revived and fans are on frenzy in discussing about the most wanted title.
After viewing it for ourselves, we did some investigation of our own and found that the screenshot is actually a hoax. It is true that Valve participated in CES’ press conference but only to unveil the upcoming Steam Machines. As for the screenshot, it was well edited! See here for the real link.
We hate to be the one breaking this news but fans need to be more careful in believing unproven news. If Valve were to talk about Half Life 3, then it should be big and fans would not have missed it.
