Add-Ons Will Not Increase The Cost Of The 2016 Honda Accord

Despite there having been a fair few updates, in the United States the prices of for entry-level versions of the renovated 2016 Honda Accod Sedan and the 2016 Honda Accord Coupe have not changed.

The launch of the facelifted Accord Sedan takes place today with prices beginning at $22,105. That will get you the base LX trim together with the 185hp 2.4liter four-cylinder engine and six-speed manual transmission. Across the range, for $34,125 you can get the luxury 2016 Accord Sedan Touring along with the 278hp 3.5-liter V6 and a six-speed transmission.

The 2016 Accord Coupe will be on the market from August 26 and will set you back $23,775 for its LX-S trim and four-cylinder engine along with six-speed manual transmission.

The top of the range 2016 Accord Coupe Touring, with the V6 and six-speed auto, is the most expensive car out of the 2016 Accord lineup with a pricetag of $34,125. A $820 destination charge is not included in this price.

Honda have provided the 2016 Accord models with a fair few styling changes for its mid-cycle refresh, including a upgraded and refreshed body and chassis, LED headlights and for the first time Honda is giving the option of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The trims on all the Accords will have the Honda Sensing package of safety assist technologies as a standalone option, except for the Touring which already receives it as standard.

Amongst the new features are heated rear seats, rear parking sensors, HD radio and much more. The 2016 Honda Accord Sedan in Sport trim and Touring versions of the Sedan and Coupe are also going to be given 19 inch alloy wheels for the first time ever.
