We know that Volkswagen is working on a new SUV that will be based on the Volkswagen Polo and now spies have spotted Volkswagen testing out the SUV on the road.
However, don’t expect to get any new clue on what the Volkswagen Polo will look like as the SUV was hiding under a Volkswagen Golf no we still have no idea what the production model will end up looking like.
The new 2018 Volkswagen Polo will be coming in riding on an MQB platform and will be slotted above the Polo model that it is based on. The Volkswagen Polo crossover might borrow some design features from the Polo but expect to see a few major changes as well.
Under the hood should be a 1.0-liter engine, a new 1.5 liter as well as a new 1.5-liter diesel engine option. We do not know when we will get to see the new crossover but it is believed that the crossover will be release in 2018.
