The newly announce Honda Ridgeline is practically a tailgaters dream with all the new features the truck bed has to offer but Ford is that easily scared off. With the demand for truck on the rise, it was predicted that Ford will be looking to release a truck to compete with models like the Honda Ridgeline.
There were a lot of speculation about the truck being the Ford Ranger and the rumors seem to have been confirmed when spies actually spotted the Ford Ranger getting tested here in the US.
It was later reported that Ford might be producing the truck in 2017 at their Michigan plant after the contract for the Ford Focus and Ford C-Max expires. The Ford Ranger was taken out of the US market due to poor sales but despite not making it in the US, the Ford Ranger truck was a success in markets like Australia.
Will it perform better this time around?
