The Hyundai Tuscon have been doing pretty well but Hyundai has no intention of leaving it at that as they now announce that the Hyundai Tuscon will be fitted with a new engine that helps further improve the fuel efficiency of the Hyundai Tuscon.
The Hyundai Tuscon will now come with a new engine option, the 1.7-liter turbodiesel engine option that will be delivering about 139hp and 251lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to the seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
According to Hyundai, the Hyundai Tuscon with the new engine and seven-speed transmission pairing will return about 48mpg on average. The Hyundai Tuscon will need 11.5 seconds to go from 0-62mph and has a top speed of 115mph.
The Hyundai Tuscon will also be fitted with safety features like Autonomous Emergency Braking system, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Keeping Assist, Active Hood cushion and Blind Spot Detection system.
