In a matter of months from now, Chevrolet will be releasing the next-generation Colorado and it is touted as something revolutionary. The pickup truck has got its concept unveiled in late last year and is tipped to be debuting in Q4 this year.
The timing is splendid for the Colorado as there isn’t much competition in the pickup truck segment at the moment. This gives Chevrolet the opportunity to create new benchmark in the automotive industry with the upcoming Colorado.
The vehicle will be built with a hydroformed steel frame while also being offered with a choice from two petrol engines and a possible diesel engine. We can expect them to be the 2.5 liter inline four cylinder engine and the 3.6 liter V6.
In terms of design, Chevrolet has created the Colorado in a stylish manner to appeal the new generation of drivers. It sports a two tier loading system that can boost the amount of gear the car is picking up in an instant. Of course, the rack is something optional. Aside from that, the truck comes with a gunmetal grille.
Inside the cabin, there is an 8 inch touch screen complete with the most up to date MyLink software. There is also a 3.4 inch display which will provide drivers with details such as how much fuel is consumed. The Colorado will ensure a hassle-free and safe commuting experience as it comes with six airbags.
