We are fast approaching 2015 and come next year, Honda will be unleashing the all-new Civic Type-R and it is going to be something extraordinary. On the downside of things, the world is still clueless on what the next-gen Type-R has got to offer and how will it look like.
Honda has been doing their best to keep their masterpiece a secret, while also offering some light details to the public. For those that are desperate to see the Civic Type-R, Honda said that the final product will be near-identical to the Concept which was unveiled earlier this year.
In terms of performance, Honda called upon 200 lucky Type-R owners to come to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium where they tested out the next-gen Type-R and the feedback couldn’t be more positive.
The sports hatchback is truly going to be something mean and fast when it gets released. Heck, even when not released, the Civic Type-R has already created a new record on the Nurnberg-ring last month. In detail, the car is named as the fastest FWD vehicle to race on the course.
With the Civic Type-R already making an impact while still being in development, one can only wonder on its full potential when the vehicle gets released next year.
