Nissan has done it again. They went on the latest New York Auto show to unveil the all new Sports Sedan Concept vehicle, which is heavily linked to being the next Maxima. Even if the study is going to be the latter, it will get toned down a little.
In short, the Concept looks futuristic. Despite that fact, one can still see Nissan’s design cues like boomerang headlights and taillight. On the other hand, some parts of the vehicle looks as if they are taken from the legendary Nissan GT-R. The list includes the reased fenders, slim roof and black-out A pillars.
Inside the cabin, everything is kept simple and minimal. The gauges are neatly positioned and there is an infotainment system embedded on the dashboard. Also, the seats are all wrapped in premium leather.
On the downside of things, Nissan did not reveal much on the Sports Sedan Concept, neither do they indicate it to be the next Maxima. However, they did reveal that the vehicle will be powered by a 3.5liter V6 engine with an estimated acceleration of 0-60mph in 5.8 seconds.
The Sports Sedan Concept looks like the complete thing and is production ready. After all, most concept models are often without the headlights and taillights.
