There is o doubt that Toyota’s biggest rival right now is the Chevrolet Colorado although right now it does not feel like it since the Tacoma is way ahead of the Chevrolet Colorado but GM is looking to make some changes to change all of that.
The Toyota Tacoma was released with a 2.7 liter four cylinder engine under the hood. They also added in a new 3.5 liter V6 engine that came in to replace the older 4.0-liter engine. Besides getting a powertrain upgrade, the Toyota Tacoma was also fitted with a few new features including the new Crawl Control.
While the Tacoma specs are pretty decent, most people think that Colorado has more to offer especially the newly released Chevrolet Colorado diesel model. The problem with the Colorado was its slow production rate.
To fix that, GM has announceD that they will be upgrading their plant so that they can increase the production rate of the Chevrolet Colorado.
