Come next year, a new Toyota Hilux will be running rampant on the road and it is going to be something extraordinary. Today, the world can get a better look at the vehicle after Toyota released a teaser image of it.
When viewing the photo, we saw a blue Hilux running on a road and it looks nothing like its predecessors. The pickup truck has a futuristic design and its grille seems to be heavily inspired by the Highlander and the Corolla. Furthermore, the Hilux looks much bigger than ever.
Under the hood, we can expect a 3.0 liter Diesel mill to power the vehicle. Of course, there will surely be a cheaper option of a 2.5L Diesel mill or the 4L V6 petrol engine. If this is to happen, then the Hilux will surely be a threat to the Nissan Frontier, Mazda BT50, Volkswagen Amarok, Ford’d Ranger and many more.
While no release date has been indicated by Toyota, consumers can look forward to seeing the Hilux making its debut early 2015.
