After all the speculations and talk, Jeep finally released the Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Grand Cherokee in India. The two models were on display at the Delhi Auto Expo 2016 earlier this month.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT model will be coming in with a 6.4-liter engine that will be delivering about 475bhp as well as 644Nm of torque. The Grand Cherokee will be arriving to compete with models like the BMW X5M.
The Jeep Wrangler, on the other hand, will be coming in with a 3.6 liter V6 engine that will be delivering about 275bhp and 359Nm of torque. Jeep will also be offering a diesel 2.8 liter engine that will be delivering about 197bhp and 451Nm of torque.
Depending on how well this two model performs in India, it is believed that Jeep might be considering building a production plant in India in the near future. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Wrangler is expected to arrive in the middle of the year.
