One might think that the consumers will be devastated to hear that the BMW M2 will not be coming in with a topless model but that did not happen. In fact, the consumers seem to be pretty pleased with the announcement.
In one of their interview with CarAdvice, Frank Isenberg, the M2 Cheif engineer confirmed that they will not be working on a BMW M2 Convertible model adding that they would like to follow what they did with the 1 Series M Coupe and keep it as pure as they can.
To the fans, the missing convertible model means that BMW will be focusing on the performance of the BMW M2 since convertible are meant for cruising. The missing topless model means we are about to see a real performance car coming from BMW and not another fancy car.
