Come next year, BMW will be releasing the next M2 but nobody has got a clue on how the sports car will look like. The only thing that fans can refer to was the spy shots of the M2 running some tests. Then again, the vehicle was being wrapped in a camouflage which leaves everything back to square one.
This is until today when an independent concept designer shared his rendition on the M2. Based on the spy shots, the M2 is believed to sport BMW’s new corporate design. Although, we did notice some features that are taken from the 1M Coupe. The fan-made concept of the M2 is coloured in orange.
We felt that it is pretty easy to visualize the M2. Knowing BMW, the German carmaker likes to make minimal changes from the existing model, to the new model. As such, we won’t be surprised if the M2 actually looks anything like the fan-made concept.
This looks to be the case unless BMW’s M-division come up with a next-generation design that will change the way the M2 is going to appear. The obvious method would be picking and mixing what is available and turns it into a sports car. All BMW has to do is fit in either the M3 or the M4 engine.
