If there is a time to own a Dodge Viper, it is now. For a sports car, the Viper is probably the cheapest and most affordable one around. This is after Dodge slashed the retail price of the Viper to recover from the losses they made over the past couple of years.
In detail, Dodge removed a whopping $15,000 from the Viper’s price tag which sees the sports car retailing at only $84,995. For those who already owned a gen 5 Viper, Dodge will throw in a $15,000 gift card for the owners to upgrade to the latest model. In total, the latter will enjoy the new Viper for a price of $69,995.
The 2014 Dodge Viper will be coming for a release early next year as production has already commenced in Detroit, at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant.
This upcoming model will be powered by a 8.4 liter V10 engine that can produce 645hp and offer 20mpg on the highway. There will be new colors to choose from and also new packages to add-on.
