The Mazda 3 is about to get a massive facelift and now, we have got more information on the compact sedan. Spy shots of the Mazda 3 were leaked on the internet and it hints on what is coming next year.
Despite the thick camouflage wrapping the sedan, we can still see that the Mazda 3 features the new Kodo design language. There are some changes to the design of the vehicle’s roofline, hood and A-pillar.
Mazda has already confirmed that the Mazda 3 is going to be developed in Mexico to avoid the currency exchange losses. Furthermore, it will be powered by a 155hp 2.0 liter four cylinder SkyActiv G engine mated to a six speed transmission. On the other hand, there are rumours hinting on a diesel motor option for the Mazda 3.
The Mazda 3 Facelift will be making its debut next year and it will be challenging the likes of Nissan Sentra, Volkswagen Golf and Chevrole Cruze. The car will look to retail from $17,495.
