Over the past week, there have been a lot of claims on the Bronco getting revived and truly it is. Today, we have got more information on what the Bronco has got to offer and whether it will live up to its past legacy.
In terms of design, the highly anticipated SUV will look like the concept that was seen way back in 2004. Of course, there will be some subtle changes to give it a more modern look. In short, the Bronco will be sharing the same platform with the Ford Ranger and the Ford Explorer.
Under the hood, there are three powermills for the consumer to choose from. They are the 4.5-liter diesel engine, 5.0-liter gasoline engine, and 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine. All three engines are paired to a twin-clutch manual gearbox, or consumers can choose the automatic transmission.
Another thing to note is that the Bronco will be offered in 2WD and 4WD variants. However, we don’t have the details like how efficient and how powerful it will be.
After a super long wait, fans are having high expectations for the Bronco. The SUV is going to be unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show happening this November before stepping into production next year. We expect it to retail at $26,000 for the entry level model.
