To make sure their customers will not have trouble driving their Ford Focus RS in the snow the next winter, Ford is now offering an optional winter wheel and tire package.
The new winter wheel and tire package will consist of a 7.5inch wheels which will be wrapped in a 225/40R 18 Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 tires. According to Ford, they have developed a special procedure that will allow them to measure winter rubber and tested them out in Northern Michigan and Sweden.
The new package will cost you $2000. If you are interested, check the package option box and the dealer will install it for you open delivery. The package and the new Ford Focus RS will be released this spring so you won;t be needing the package then but there is no harm is preparing for the winter ahead of time.
The standard Ford Focus RS model retails for $36,605.
