The Google I/O conference is already behind us and there is still no word on the Nexus 6. There is a lot of debate on whether the smartphone will be created or if the Nexus has ended its tenure. That is until today when a Google employee tipped us that the Nexus 6 is in development.
The insider revealed that the Nexus 6 will be featuring a 5.5” screen which strongly hints on it being based on the LG G3. However, there is no certainty if it will come with QHD resolution. On the other hand, LG’s director, Ken Hong, once revealed that the company is not working on any Nexus project as of yet.
The Nexus 6 is a controversial subject with many viewing it with scrutiny. This is due to Google’s enthusiasm on the Android Silver program. The Search Engine giant wishes to give every Android-operated device to be their own ‘Nexus’ instead of making a single device under the company’s badge.
As exciting as that may sound, the Nexus smartphone and tablets are still something that consumers love and will surely miss when they are ceased from any further development. Due to that, many are still hoping for the Nexus 6 to be the perfect ending to a perfect line of smartphones.
