For LG G2 customers on Verizon there is there is a bit of great news heading in their direction. The unofficial build of the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat is finally out OTA. It may not be so simple for people to get hold of it though, considering they have a relatively decent knowledge for ADB. For those who have been handling custom ROMs this will of course be an easy task.
The first thing users have to do is make sure that they have the flash build VS98012B. When that has been done they will have to root the firmware. Autoprime may be used for this. To sum it up, the task is really quite straightforward. Even though it is easy, it can be a bit tiresome too.
Alongside the rooting, the bin file has to be downloaded and renamed. They will then need to take it into the LG G2 and put it in a specific folder after which they are required to input the commands in ADB with precision.
After that has been completed the G2 will reboot and the handset will now run with KitKat. As we have said before, this is just for the Verizon customers with LG G2.
